About the artist

G1G1 is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer creating cinematic, character driven alternative pop shaped by Americana, film, and visual storytelling.

Her work is rooted in world building, with each song operating as a self contained narrative with its own voice, tone, and internal logic. Drawing as much from film and visual language as from music itself, she approaches songwriting as both composition and direction, exploring performance, identity, and emotional contradiction through a cinematic lens.

She began performing at a young age as the lead vocalist and bassist of a local band, and studied voice at the Colburn School. She later trained in classical and opera before expanding into contemporary songwriting and music production, developing a sound that merges structure with instinct and narrative with atmosphere.

Her influences include Lana Del Rey, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, and Kanye West, artists whose work is defined by authorship, perspective, and cultural point of view.

Her most recent project, Glitter & Gun$, recorded in Barcelona, draws on Spanish musical influences while expanding her sonic range and deepening her visual and narrative world.

She is currently focused on building a cohesive body of work that integrates music, visual storytelling, and production into a unified artistic language.
